Multi-brand store on Graben
The traditional Viennese fur fashion house and family-owned company LISKA boasts an elegant flagship store on Graben, in the heart of Vienna. Whoever likes – and can tolerate – fur can purchase designs by the in-house production and international designers. But there is also fur-free fashion and accessories.
The posh store located on Graben in the heart of Vienna opened its doors to complement the traditional fur fashion store and furriery on Hoher Markt. Whoever likes – and can tolerate fur – can purchase designs by Fendi, Michael Kors, or Lanvin. But there are also fur-free items by international top designers such as Saint Laurent, Fendi, Givenchy, or Nina Ricci. The German Chris Seibold (33), a trained women and men’s tailor and furrier, is the current head designer of the house following Thomas Kirchgrabner in 2013 who is now director of Lena Hoschek’s couture studio.
Incidentally, the 600 m2 sales area spanning over three floors was designed by the Austrian architect Adolf Krischanitz (among his other works, the Kunsthalle am Karlsplatz). Dark varnished acacia wood is combined with generous glass and mirrored surfaces. A sculptural staircase leads up to the show rooms on the upper floor.
