This years international festival will dedicate a whole week in the name art. The motto this time will be „Seeking Beauty“ luring art lovers and experts into exhibitions, performances, activities and discussions in a variety of museums and institutions to "Search for Beauty".

Robert Punkenhofer,Vienna Art Week's art director, on that:
"Beauty is not just a matter of taste, it's changing constantly and evolves from dialogue. We're interested in the connection between the definition of beauty and the societal development."
The Vienna Art Week also stands for the national and international exchange in the art scene. Exhibition halls, art rooms, galleries and independant Artist-run-Spaces in all Vienna are opening their gates offering a versatile program. There will be panel discussions with directors of renowned Viennese art institutions on the creative development of the city and last year's successful formats will be running for a week.
