The social platform Instagram is freeware and used by 500 Million people world-wide to share - quasi live - photos and videos with real and virtual friends. The exhibition at the Untere Belvedere will reflect on how artists in Austria put their own photographic creation into context on Instagram.
The inspired, the fragmentary, and the mundane meet in the artists’ microblogs!
The exhibition #Instagram now! tries to transfer these various visual worlds into a real space investigating the potential of mobile devices to snap pictures anytime and anywhere.
